Your local PBS station might be showing the movie, “Racing Through the Forest”, a documentary about the history of the 1950-1956 Pebble Beach Road races. The documentary includes 50 interviews of legendary names in road racing such as Jim Hall, Ken Miles, Phil Remington, Carroll Shelby, Phil Hill, Ken Miles and Bill Pollock. You’ll even see Peter Brock. If you live in the San Diego area and can get KPBS, the next showing is Saturday, December 5 from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM or check your PBS station listings. I'm always pleased to direct someone to my Torrey Pines pages.

Don't miss my FotoTime Torrey Pines photo albums.

Edit: I see upon review of the Torrey Pines pages that KTUD (who originally stole Tom Cardin's pictures of California racing in the early days and put them on the NetWebs) have folded up their tent and fled. Fortunately, I had contacted Mr Cardin and obtained permission to put his pictures where we can all get a good look at them. Some Pebble Beach images from about #70 or so, as well as more Torrey Pines material (#25 et seq,).
