will
Just got my 1st shelby. Not familiar with super chargers. But I'm assuming I'm having major slippage. When I accelerate hard I hear the super charger spin and my rpms shoot across but the car doesn't react. What could cause this and how can I tell if it's slipping? I hav an 08 gt500 with a nice size kenne bell mammoth on it.

08KR525
I think your clutch may be toast. If you can hear the s'charger spin up under acceleration then your serpentine belt is not slipping. All the symptoms you state indicate a slipping clutch. will
Appreciate the replies. This is my 1st post. And it may b the clutch. I wondered about hearing the super charger spin. If it's my clutch, any suggestions on a good replacement? Gotta get this thing diagnosed fast.
will
At about 9 or 10 psi during acceleration that's when something slips. The rpms will jump across and almost red line if u dnt let off. I figured I shudnt hear the super charger spin if the belt is slippn. But it's clearly spinning. It may b my clutch then. Any suggestions?
shel-b001
Sounds like the clutch , check the records on your car at a dealer, there was a T.S.B out on the clutch & most had them replced but your car may still have the original clutch.
