MyBlueHeaven
Has anyone added the 6 piston Brembo brakes with the 15" rotors that have 18" wheels? Or does anyone know if they will fit? I have the oportunity to get some, but don't want to make the purchase if they aren't going to fit. I've been checking aftermarket sites that sell them, like AM and LMR, and they recently changed their stance. For a while their sites said 18" would work (clear), but now it says 19" required for proper clearance, just curious if anyone here has added them that might already know. Really don't want to buy them and then turn around and have to sell them cause of fitment issues. Thanks in advance for any info. I do not have the stock wheels just to help clear this up some, They are the FR500 style wheels with these specs Size: 18x9Offset: +30mmBackspacing: 6.42Weight: 28lbsLug Pattern: 5x114.3 R/ Jeff Edited July 17, 2015 by MyBlueHeaven
Kevin Patten
Jeff, Check out the HRE FF15 18" wheels - they are suppose to fit over the 15" 6 piston Brembo calipers.
MyBlueHeaven
Jeff, Check out the HRE FF15 18" wheels - they are suppose to fit over the 15" 6 piston Brembo calipers. Thanks, at least I know that they work with some 18" wheels now. Funny cause Late model has the brakes listed on their site and says 19" wheels are required for clearance, but if you look at their wheels, the 18" SVE FR500 style wheels (which is what I have) they say they will fit the gt500 up through 14. So I called them and asked why they're contradicting their descriptions and they couldn't give me a straight answer. I really wanted the 6 piston 15" brakes, but I suppose the 4 piston 14" would be just as good. At least I know they'll fit for sure. Anyway, thanks for posting. I guess I have some deciding to do. Play it safe, or take my chances! R/ Jeff Edited August 10, 2015 by MyBlueHeaven
