Five Oh B
Just got a memo from Ford giving timelines for price announcements for all 2007 Fords. GT500 pricing will be available early-May, while 2007 Mustang V6 and GT pricing will be available late-May. Nice to see that Ford is prioritizing the GT500 price announcement before the lesser models. This memo discussed all models - not just GT500. Good to read that many vehicle lines will have lower MSRP's. A great example is the Escape Hybrid which will have an MSRP for 2007 that is $1,000 lower than 2006 to price it closer to the non-hybrid models to spark more interest in them. Heck there's even 0% interest for 60 months on Escape Hybrid now - that's a bold and agressive move! Can't wait to see specifics on the GT500 and other Mustang pricing for 2007! Five Oh B
I think May 31st would be considered late-May, so anything before that is "early," right?

You where a great help then and now. Thanks, Cutter! I think I provided a little too much info too early on the Mach 1 (but, was always happy to do so). I remember posting order codes before they were public and Ford closing the order banks on Mach 1's for a few weeks wondering how in the hell customers were ordering them so soon. I learned that some things Ford wants kept quiet a little longer than other things, so I've been careful here to post just the info I can without making waves with Ford. On a side note, you can see from my avatar that I still have the Mach 1.

GT500 should be soon - by the 10th if you follow lawdude's logic. Hi, I was just talking to my Dealer today about receiving a copy of my Dora. He said I would recieve one when the pricing came in. Could you tell me if he has really put the order in that I gave him or is that standard procedure. I would also like to know if that late of a date of order is going to effect delivery time. They have 3 car for sure and I am the first alocated vehicle. Thanks Steve

Thanks Steve Steve, I don't think there is a specific time after the order goes in before the DORA comes back, but I think in some of these forum guys cases it was pretty quickly. I asked my dealer for mine after learning about it here on the forum. But, they should have given you at least an order number. My dealer actually gave me a copy of the order he had input and the order number was there. Anyway, you can ask one of the sales managers to check the status of your order if you have the order number for him. The DORA was much more clear as to what was in the dealer order printout. This person is in the # one spot.

We're ordering tons of new 2007's weekly (cars, trucks, SUV's, etc.) and there isn't pricing available on most yet, but the DORA's keep coming anyway.
