ITHERTZ66
Has anybody changed or cut their bump stops and experienced a better ride?
Kevin Patten
Yes, have done the relocate brackets that zombeast did on my GT500 and I've cut them on others to gain suspension travel to improve ride quality.
gtup1
After a year I finally had my Watts Link, lower control arms, relo brackets and rear shock tower brace installed. When I picked up the car the mechanic said he had taken the bump stops off and cut them down because they were only allowing about 2" of travel. I must say the car does ride better but I'm not sure if that's the cut down bump stops or the Watts link. As most guys on here that have had the Watts link installed will attest it makes a huge difference on how the rear of the car feels. Solid as rock now, no skittish feeling at all. You would have thought SAI would have cut them down when they put the springs on our cars back when.

GT500-2007
Mine have been cut down. Difference is now when I have someone riding in the back seat the car does not hit the stops. Before it did with a thud.
