bigsnake
Well after four years of enjoying every minute of owning my Shelby I moved on. Stayed in the Ford family with a 2015 Lincoln MKZ. because I'm getting older and I'm a disabled vet and shifting was getting to be a chore so I went for full comfort automatic 6 speed and gas mileage. Got the turbo 4 squirrel ecoboost with 26/33 mpg and all the good electronics, leather seats and a moonroof that's more like a freighter's cargo hold. Have really enjoyed the Shelby and being on this site and will still visit the good people here. By the way, the MKZ listed for $41,975 MSRP with options and I traded even paying only tax, title and tag transfer. so hopefully that was a fair trade. Helix
Sad to see it go; your car was very nice and a great color (blue of course ha). Enjoy the Lincoln though; hey, we have that in common now right? Lincoln ownership!

T Shelby GT has an automatic... can always come back from the Darkside and that 6-banger or is it a 4 in the sedan Those Lincolns are not bad looking but Ford has no clue that they could double the sales if put the 5.0 Coyote in it
blk12svt
Congrats! My wife and I drove an MKZ a couple of years ago when they first came out and I absolutely loved the car, unfortunately she didn't... Basically the mustache looking grill treatment is what she didn't like but that rear angle looks great. The one we drove was the 300 HP V6 and seemed to have plenty of power but I agree with 39mustang, if they had a 400+ hp something under the hood they would sell like hotcakes instead of giving Cadillac all the business with their high HP V8's. Wife is still driving her Navigator with 160K miles but it's been such a great vehicle she hates to give it up but I am afraid it will be her last Navi as we went trolling car lots on Sunday and a new one stickered for $77,800!!!!!!! By the time you add sales tax you are well over 80K. Ridiculous.... We are now thinking Audi A7 with the SUV like hatchback. Good luck and thanks for your service!! vapor08GT500
The MKZ's are nice cars, but with the Ecoboost, they seem to never be able to get their advertised gas mileage....I have driven a few as loaners with the Ecoboost and the 3.7. an all wheel drive Coyote would be awesome...
