New Carroll Shelby International Website Reflects Global Expansion And Corporate Structure

LOS ANGELES – May 5 2015 – Carroll Shelby International, Inc., (OTC: CSBI.PK) has launched a new website, http://www.shelby.com, that consolidates all Shelby organizations under its umbrella as part of its international expansion. On May 4th, the websites for Shelby American, Carroll Shelby Licensing, Carroll Shelby Enterprises, Team Shelby, the Carroll Shelby Foundation and the online store were welded into a single site organized by topic rather than by company name.

“Our philosophy is to streamline processes and leverage the strengths of all the organizations within the Shelby family to boost the performance of the entire group,” said Joe Conway, Co-CEO of Carroll Shelby International. “For example, people visited the Shelby American site for information about our vehicles and Carroll Shelby Licensing website to learn how to become a licensee. Now visitors to shelby.com can select ‘Vehicles’ to view our high performance lineup or click on ‘Foundation’ to read about our charitable efforts. Everything a person needs to know about Shelby is now available in a single, easy-to-use website.

Over the past several years, the Carroll Shelby International board has been quietly restructuring, refining and expanding the company. The new website is a virtual representation of those successful efforts. Fifty years after Shelby American won America’s only sports car world championship, Carroll Shelby International is once again spreading globally.

“Shelby American has been an admired global brand ever since the team won the FIA World Championship in 1965,” said Neil Cummings, Co-CEO of Carroll Shelby International “With the decision by our partners at Ford Motor Company to take the fantastic new Mustang worldwide, we’ve been establishing mod shops, manufacturing agreements and new licensing programs around the world. We’re transforming Shelby from a multinational brand into a multinational corporation. Our new site, shelby.com, reflects that exciting change. ”

While the new site is important from a strategic standpoint, it will also offer many benefits to a global audience that continues to grow its appetite for Shelby news and products.

“We simplified the public’s access to Shelby-related information and their ability to reach those who can help with questions or requests,” said Rich Sparkman, IT Director for Carroll Shelby International. “Along with the consolidation of our online presence, we changed all Shelby email addresses to use ‘@shelby.com’ extension. This standardization of all users into a single domain will help the public reach us more easily. The result will be better customer service and easier access to information.”

So... Nice job on consolidating the "brands" under one site (and domain "shelby.com") but the site does not appear to be built "responsively" (meaning that it scales to adapt to mobile devices).

Is a responsive version of the site coming soon?

They really should have a section for past models, the Terlingua, CS6, CS8, 40th Anniversary, 427, etc..........

Maybe from a heritage/history stand point but if they are not being produced its really a moot point from a marketing standpoint imo.

The old site had a location (although buried) for the legacy vehicles.

The new page has a "Previous Shelby Models" link in the "Vehicles" menu (it currently says "coming soon")

It helps to have it to be able to tell a Buyer to check it out if you are selling one.

But My question was; There were other vehicle programs in progress - Have they been discontinued? Is there not more GTS programs? Is the 2015 Shelby GT the only SGT available (there was a 13-14 program)? And has the Shelby GT/SC program been discontinued?

Agree. Noticed the "previous models" coming soon. twobjshelbys referenced it in post 11. Still the question about what previous post title packages can you still have done.
