Very cool indeed. As one of the comments about the video stated "this is a reminder of the debt we owe the men and women who fought to preserve the freedom that is unique to America, as well as the importance of defending that freedom from challenges both foreign and domestic". God Bless our service men & women. God Bless America!

Great video! Thanks for posting. Here's the Colonel with the 2nd of 3 P-38's he flew out of Andover in 1944. He was one of the lucky ones...

That is me flying the B17 in the video. It is an honor to fly it in tribute to those brave men who lost their lives...

 

Very cool...and what fun that must be. Some of the old war planes make a tour of S. Calif on occasion. You ever get out his way?

We usually don't go west of El Paso. But if we do, I will let you know.

Wings of Freedom (Collings Foundation) will be visiting Monterey May 13-15 and Mt. View May 15-23. Aircraft that will be onsite and flight experiences for a fee will be a B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator, P-51 Mustang and a B-25 Mitchell. Hope to check them out. cfdn.org
