SVTGT500
If I put a 13/14 Super Snake axle back on my car, does it require a tune? The kit is nothing more than a small Borla S-Type muffler but I'm thinking once it gets back that far in the system, it shouldn't affect the tune much at all... if any. cmcmotorworks
Exhaust alone, no tune. CAI and New throttle body. Yes
SVTGT500
I plan on a dry Airaid filter, FRPP res. delete and the ss axle back. I would like to be able to run this with the stock tune. At this time, the filter/res is only to give the blower a little more sound and of course the same on the exhaust. Once the warranty is up, I may do a few more upgrades (pulley, tb ect) and tune it. cmcmotorworks
Should be fine, but check you're Borla literature, it may tout a 7-10% increase in HP. So a tune may be beneficial anyway.

No question a tune would help a ton. I was thinking 5-10hp increase with the exhaust alone w/o a tune?
cmcmotorworks
I did the larger filter, resonator delete, ford racing throttle body and Borla exhaust and gained about 60-70 Horsepower after tune. It needed a tune. Ran real lean.
