Kevin Patten
Ron @ AIM Tires has brought to the marketplace the new Achilles R1 road race slick. Some testing has been done at Sonoma Raceway and has brought about lots of positive feedback. The tire is a true race slick and it's NOT a DOT rated street/track tire. Testing was done on a 30/65-18 size on a Jongbloed 10.5x18 wheel on a SPEC MUSTANG (same size on all 4 corners) and showed to be about 3 seconds faster than the Hoosier R7 and had less wear. The tire is made in Indonesia, has a squared shoulder, and is around the same price as the Hoosier. Has anyone else tested on these?
OsirisGT500
I've only used Hoosier R6's and BFG R1's sorry. Going to try Toyo RR's next per AI class. Sounds promising

svttim
Not tried them. I have todos and they suck, wear well but not sticky. I'll be using RA1s
