Doublemyv
My 2012 GT350 with 10,000 miles has a worsening clunk in the right front suspension. Does anyone know if there is an inherent failure in the Lower Control Arm ball joint on the GT 350 ? I have read about the SGT & GT-H needing replacements with the GT500 versions as well as the MOOG outer tie rods. Was that recommended change due to clunking sounds when driving over less than perfect roads ? The handling, stability, and braking are unaffected during street driving, autocross, or drag racing. Thanks for any help. MM
Kevin Patten
You might want to check the front sway bar links to see if one is loose or the socket end has play. The front lower control arms (including the ball joints) are different on your 2012 than the earlier models. JMO
Doublemyv
Thanks for the tip, I'll check out the sway bar links, and see what I can find. MM
kyarnelli
The wheelstands when leaving a redlight are always hard on the front end.
mavisky
I have a clunk in the front of my GT500, trying to fix it with new strut tops since that seems to be a solution that has worked for others.
