mavisky
I can see your point of view, but the licensing of the name to Ford for those production line models may be what's keeping the lights on for the rarer and higher end custom builds carried out in Las Vegas. HARALD KELLEY
Unfortunately, that is not in the plan. Can't say I disagree with SA, there are 7000 SGTs out there and there are only a few being raced. Ford has taken the reins (due to high costs of organized racing) and the Shelby brand will be out there with the New GT350 in many venues Great discussion guys. Frank S
One of the things that Ford has demonstrated over the lifespan of the S197 is that they pay attention to the aftermarket. Every new edition added a few subtle and not-so-subtle touches that owners had applied to the previous issue. It looked as if Ford's plan was to steal the thunder of the aftermarket suppliers. Eventually it has become so difficult for those aftermarket designers to come up with some unique part or kit that is both desirable and profitable in the eyes of the modders, that some of the available stuff is just flat ridiculous. Shelby steps into that environment with upscale quality and a proven track record of producing desirable and popular vehicles. And—with the exception of that lumpy nose— did a good job of stepping around obstacles the other suppliers can't avoid. Good on 'em.
39Mustang
other than the factory cars have any 2015 Shelby GT's been built for customers yet?
