Just got home a little bit ago. I'll start a new thread about my techniques and my timeslips; perhaps you'll pick up some pointers there before you head out to your local track tomorrow. moabman Posted June 7, 2007 Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 Personally, I would be delighted with mid 13's in my car because all I have is the drag pack and the GT500 wheels on my vert. I'm just basing 12's on what my tech thinks it ought to run. I did some launches this morning - seems like between 2500 and 3000 works the best. I get a few feet of spin - then hook. RUFDRAFT Posted June 7, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 Yep - it pulls like the secondaries (!) open at about 4k! After the cam install, dyno tuner raised the limiter to 6500. Hp/tq graphs climb steadily right up to 6500. Since low end power is down, the 4:10's help get the car off the line quicker. Subsequent upshifts keep the engine in the sweet spot. I'm taking the hood insulation off this weekend so we can better hear the beast within! And - compared to the 19" Toyo TR-1's - these KDW's feel like slicks!
