ilmor
This is probably not too surprising, but came across this article last night.... I believe my 2013 5.0 is 420 hp on 90 octane and 408 on 87 octane; a loss of 12 hp. The ecoboost looses quite a bit more! http://www.autoblog.com/2015/01/05/2015-ford-mustang-ecoboost-loses-big-power-on-87-octane/?ncid=edlinkusauto00000015
Helix
Stands to reason that an ecoboost system running a turbocharger for power would lose a lot of power when you lower the grade of fuel. Still, 11.3% is pretty astounding.
David Hawkins
That's why they give you the Horse Power ratings on all 3 Grades of Gas now. I even think it is in most Owner manuals. It started several Years ago.
