Alcan KobRa
Does anyone have hood shocks on their KR? If so please give me some input, looking to get a set. Thanks, AK.
SGT0767
Hi AK, On the second page of the KR forum, there is a discussion on Hood Struts. Most of us have the Red Line struts and they work well and don't require drilling. Ours has been on for over two years and are still working well. Alcan KobRa
I've used the Red Lines on my last two Mustangs, the 07 Shelby being one of them and I loved them. I just wanted to make certain there were no issues using them with the CF hood. Thanks everyone. AK.

Mike I just saw the struts on the SAI link and it says they require drilling into the hood. Do they have a set that doesn't? Thanks again, AK. ShelbyKR664
AK, the Redline Elite's do not require drilling. I have them and love them. Make sure you get the one's specifically for the KR hood. SA mistakenly sent me a set for the SuperSnake hood which required rivets. Had I not carefully read the directions, I would have attempted to install them.
Alcan KobRa
I just picked up a set of the stainless from Redline Tuning. Same price as SAI, but their shipping to Alaska was just under $13.00 priority mail whereas SAI wanted $36.00. Typical of them I'm afraid. Thanks again guys. AK.
