The September 2014 issue of Mustang Club of America's Mustang Times has an article that states that Carroll Hall Shelby Trust unveiled plans for a new Carroll Shelby Automotive Museum in Gardena. The museum being formed around CS private collection. The museum will be approx. 40,000 square feet while a "Shelby Snake Pit" lounge will be 5000 square feet. Construction to begin this year with a formal opening planned in early 2015. Also a mention that Akos Feher has rejoined Shelby American as VP of SPP. He will be heavily involved in research and development as well as retail sales.

In addition Shelby American and Carroll Shelby Licensing have signed agreements with Stephen Becker's Planet Shelby Cobra to create a "Shelby Super Center" on the east coast with mod shop. Likewise an announcement will be made soon about Shelby Canadian, a new mod shop located in Alberta Canada as part of a partnership with Jeff and Julie Yergovich and Lawayne Musselwhite.

I wonder if they will be accepting applications to work in Gardena? I would apply!

Was this announced on TS anywhere?

Really like the monthly MCA mag and well worth the membership dues.

The Gardena Museum has been discussed on Team Shelby in several threads. Not sure if the press release was ever posted but here is a link to it:
