slbgtsc
Many have done this mod and I love it, but I never wanted to give up the power point. I noticed on the American Muscle site several options for the button placement. I took the bait and installed my button tonight in a spot that I like better. I chose to set mine up so you can only start with the button. Cool factor of 10. The pdf install file on the American Muscle site is better than the instructions that come in the box. mavisky
I don't think I've ever seen anyone mount theres in that particular spot, I'd be concerned about the passenger's elbow perhaps. I was totally boring and installed mine in place of the power plug.
slbgtsc
I saw some mount theirs on the dash panel by the steering wheel, one mounted in the storage box where the trunk release button would go. I think it is too low and forward for an elbow to hit it.
