07ShelbyGT2908
Hey guys, What were stock brake pads that Mustangs came with. I am the second owner of my Mustang and noticed that I have Magneti Marelli brake pads. Never heard of them. Thanks, Francis #2908
Jer
Magneti Marelli are a respected OEM supplier (usually Mopar). They're OK. Jer
Larry T
How much life do you have left on them? If you want go with the SPP ones http://www.shelbystore.com/product-p/z28-s5m-2020-u1.htm
07ShelbyGT2908
I have quite a bit left. I agree. They are ok. They are really quite but they do produce alot of brake dust. Thanks, Francis #2908
ledfoot73
The stock brakes were just the standard Mustang gt pads. The pads from the Bullitt mustang from those years are a better pad and were made by Performance Friction Metallic. I use those and really like them. I bet those Baer brake pads in the Shelby store are a pretty good pad and hard to beat that price. The higher the performance of the pad typically equates to more dust. If you don't want that go with the MotorCrafts. If you want a bit of a performance upgrade you might stay with what you have maybe or try those Baers.
