Weld Racing Rims / Tires?

[SPM-GT500]

Hi all, just looking to get some advice on some new rims / tires for my '13 GT500. Took it to the drags for the first time recently and had trouble getting the stock rubber to hook, I will be ordering the weld racing rts wheel package from team beefcake racing with the 18x5 front and 17x10 rear. Is anyone one else running these rims?

 

For tires I have been looking at mickey thompson E.T street radials, anyone have any other suggestions? Just looking for a street legal tire that will hook at the strip, doesnt need to be good for anything other than that.
