glhs0075
I have had this same issue with my GLHS since I bought it. Rock Auto offers an Airtex fuel pump part #E7073S that includes the hanger assembly and sender unit. I recently purchased it, but haven't had the time to install it yet. Once I do I'll let you know if it fixes my issue. I searched under 1990 Dodge Omni to find it.

glhs0075
I have owned my GLHS since December of 2008. Yesterday was the first day during my time of ownership that I have had an operable fuel gauge! I replaced the Airtex pump on the hanger with my Walbro 255 (this step isn't necessary, the Airtex pump would have worked), and now no more guess work as to when it's time to fill up.
