New Member Here. Classified Ad Section Not Working?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Just wondering why I am unable to access the GT500 classified ad section of the forums. It shows there have been posts as recent as yesterday but every time i click to go into it, my screen is just white and nothing loads. :gaah:

Thanks for the welcomes.

And Steve, That link does bring me up to the "Please Read: Car Sales and ADM Posting" But says this topic is locked with just one post from guest_admin.stangs.

So then I click on the "return to Shelby GT500 Classified Ads" link and again it's just a blank white page with this URL: http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/forum/13-shelby-gt500-classified-ads/

Not sure what the deal is lol.

When I click on the URL link you just posted, I see a full page with all the open adds and the "Start New Topic" button. What browser are you using? Sounds like you have some settings not allowing the page to open.

Yes that link should take you to a "sticky" thread that has just one post and that is locked, so you're all good there. Something on your end is not letting the page load, perhaps you have the settings on your PC set too high/restrictive. As JeffJ mentioned we'll need to know what browser you are using.

I'm not sure I understand your point. The classified forums are not a "protected" forum meaning that they are open to both both regular and paying Team Shelby members.

I suspect the page is not opening for the OP due to his PC settings being set to restrictive. Something is trying to load that his PC won't allow hence his blank screen.

I thought the classifieds were restricted to Team Shelby members. I know you can't post a ad without being a member.

That is not correct. I would say a larger percentage of adds are posted by non paying members. Here's the most recent add:

http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/84939-sold-50th-anniversary-alcoa-nib/

Also looks like the wheels were purchased by a non member with one post.
