al ellison
I ordered my Shelby June 1, 2006 and she arrived on April 12, 2007. At the time I ordered her, I had a 1965 K-code and I could not keep both. My prayer was that we could sale the K-code any time before the Shelby arrived. On Good Friday, I received several competing bids for my K-code and eventually one offered full asking price, which I accepted. Now as all of you know, it is not a done deal until the money is received. The following Thursday, April 12, my banker called at ten minutes until 5:00 and let me know the wire had been received. This was great news as I was expecting the Shelby around the end of April. Ten minutes later, my dealer called and said the Shelby had arrived early! :happy feet: Thanks be to God! Glory to the Father, Son and Holy Spririt!!! This is such a great site with invaluable information. Good luck and safe travels to all. Al
GT500FLYBOY
Great back story. Beautiful car - though it turns out black is faster... Be careful with that baby. Respect it in the turns.

al ellison
Where are you in the Southeast?Nice car, by the way. Looks like my cars twin. :happy feet: I am in Birmingham. So far there are two other Shelbys that I have seen - one is my buddies that is identical to mine and a beautiful vista blue coupe with white stripes. I know there are more, but they must not drive them much. With the Barber's Motor Sports track, it would be great to do an event here. I guess us vert owners need to find a roll bar solution.
