JDB
The KR locked me out while the car was running. My GMC would never do this, even if you try. Guess ill have to get a detach key ring. Good news is that I'm in the habit of always leaving my D-Max running and unsnapping the fob so I can lock it. But this is a stupid issue that no automaker should let slip by. sheppd01
I had a Jaguar that did that to me with my six month old asleep in the back seat. Haven't had that problem with the KR yet.
JDB
A quick Google search shows that others have had this problem with the Mustang. I haven't dug deeper to see if there's a fix.
shelbypt
I had an Infiniti do that to me with my 10 month old daughter in the back. What a nightmare. The police ran down the road about 5 miles to the dealership and had a key made for me real quick, but the ordeal took about an hour in total. My daughter did very well, but I wasn't so well... I've never had this happen with my KR, and that would really stink!!!!
FiaCobra
Have a door key made (without the chip) and secure it under the car with a "hide a key" box.
