Call me a dumb ass or just someone who is a lil OCD and likes to have a plan laid out in front of him but I feel like I'm missing something. I paid for the bash got my hotel reservations at both Palm Springs and Vegas I have the survival guide and I paid 150 for the MCA and 250 for a track day on Thursday. I know there is a schedule of events for the entire Shelby bash but then I hear about dinners and stuff for the MCA but when I signed up I do not recall that being added option so I feel like I'm missing out on something. Once the bash is over and the MCA starts what is this MORE parking where is it what events do I need it for I'm doing a track day am I on my own for food I'm starting to feel like there are gaps in the plan and I'd like to know ahead of time or will we just doing hot laps down flamingo dr to Las Vegas blvd past the lawn shop to ricks restoration with a stop at counts customs then buzz the billagio??? Lol

Welcome to about any MCA event. Communication and scheduling is pretty darn confusing or non existent. The MORE parking is for when you are parking at the Las Vegas Speedway on Thursday-Sunday. While you are doing your track day on Thursday, you will probably be parked across from the MORE parking at the road course outside of the Speedway. I'm pretty sure we are all on our own for any food during the day Thursday-Sunday. At least from what I can tell. The only food being provided by MCA is at the evening events Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. However since you paid $150 for MCA, I'm guessing that you did not sign up for any of the dinners. The dinners for Thursday-Saturday are $75 each per person. I didn't get any of the dinners either as my wife is gluten intolerant and looking at the menu's, they didn't have much that would be edible for her, so why pay $75? I'm sure the evening events will be fun, but I can't stomach paying that much if we can't enjoy it. Hopefully when you get your packet on Wednesday, there will be good information about scheduling of what is going on. At least I'm hoping there is. You should be able to go to the MCA 50th site and add the dinners to your reservation if you like, I believe. I have heard that some of the evening events are full, but I'm not sure. The Thursday night dinner is at the New York, New York, Friday Night event is at Shelby American, and I believe the main Saturday night event is at Mandalay Bay. But based on what you paid for MCA, you are not signed up for any of the evening events.

I have you signed up for the MORE parking. This will be near the main entrance of the Las Vegas Speedway. You will have designated parking and can come and go as you desire. You will pick up your registration at the Mandalay Bay. Times are posted on the MCA 50th website.

Here is what I posted on the TS MORE Vegas threat post # 101.

Your parking credentials will be in your 50th registration packets and they will be available at the host hotel, Mandalay Bay, Island Ballroom. Please visit the MCA "50th Mustang Celebration" Vegas site for additional info on pick up times etc. My last visit the times for Registration pick-up are as follows: 4/16-12pm to 6pm, 4/17-8am to 5pm, 4/18-8am to 5 pm, 4/19-8am to 12pm.

Check the 50th site for additional info.

The best detailed schedule and maps that I've seen for the 50th event was in this month's (May 2014) issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords. Of course there are I'm sure changes which have been and will be made since that was written, but at lease it gives you some more detailed info than the web site does. For example the article states that there will still be drag racing in Vegas, which I heard is not on the schedule any longer. But at least there are some maps of where the basics are.

Here is a link to the schedule: https://www.mustang50thbirthdaycelebration.com/vegas/schedule.html

The links at the top of the site will take you to registration for the dinner events. The Thursday night party at the Brooklyn Bridge is sold out. The Banquet and Shelby event are still available

There are spots open for the track days if you still want to register. Drag racing was cancelled due to no signups for it.

There will be food and concessions available at the LVMS.

Cool thanks I'm only sticking around the 17th then driving back to San Diego on the 18th as I will already be on the road from the 13th on so a full week in Vegas is not the plan. So pretty much all venue is at lvms except goodie bag and registration?

Correct. Everyone seems to anticipate some great cohesive MCA schedule. That is not their style. MCA events tend to be a collection of their individual regional clubs hanging out together.
