I have yet to test this out but I was at autozone inquiring about a part and the guy told me to go see the service writer at the dealership I bought my car from because Ford will give you a discount on parts for the High Performance vehicles ie shelby gt500 Ford Gt. Has anyone heard this or experienced it? I'm going to go talk to the service writer here next week and talk to him.

May depend on what parts you are buying. I purchased some LCA bolts/nuts last year and the local Ford Dealership in AZ and they charged outrageous prices. The guy at the desk was less than helpful when I asked about a discount.

I always check White Bear Lake Ford (formally Tousley) in Minn before buying local. Most of the time you get better deals even with shipping costs.

I think it's worth trying to chat with your local dealership, but my experience was less than productive so I shop elsewhere for Ford parts.

Barspen,

I bought my Whipple supercharger from Tousley Ford and worked with Steve. It was a great experience. When did they change to White Bear Lake?

Thanks

Chris

I agree with Barry- try White Bear lake (Tousley)- great prices and they smoke the local dealer prices. I just bought shocks/struts and swaybars from them and they drop shipped directly from Ford Racing. I also bought 4 bolts/nuts for my install at the local dealership and was charged nearly $80 for them- ridiculous.
