Im looking to change my exhaust, but in Md I need to keep the Cats. I want it be slightly obnoxious, but I dont like the sound of a muffler delete. What have you guys dont and where is the best place to purchase? Thanks.

stewarbc
So many exhaust threads. So many choices. So many combos. Also, ask yourself if you are going Axleback replacement only or adding headers, etc. Many combinations can sound totally different or be too loud. I like http://www.stage3motorsports.com and http://www.americanmuscle.com and also try http://www.summitracing.com The Borla S-Types are great as are Roush Extremes. Of course, listening to sound clips online is only going to make you crazy as there are so many and the video does not do some justice. Best way to judge is "in person" if possible. If you want even more aggressive ------ look at the Borla ATAKs(more expensive). I have the ATAKs on my 12 GT500 and they are awesome ----- plus the 4.5" tips look fantastic too. http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/79951-shelby-drivers-exhaust-setups-what-are-you-guys-running/page-2?hl=exhaust&do=findComment&comment=1497894 http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/82874-gt500-exhaust-question/?hl=exhaust http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/70735-2011-ford-racing-svt-sport-mufflers-m-5230-msvtla/?hl=%2Bexhaust+%2Bclip&do=findComment&comment=1249708 http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/68388-axle-back-suggestions/?hl=%2Bexhaust+%2Bclip&do=findComment&comment=1171618 http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/69737-finally-happy-with-my-exhaust/?hl=%2Bexhaust+%2Bclip http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/69344-roush-exhaust-installed/?hl=%2Bexhaust+%2Bclip&do=findComment&comment=1187191
MTYQIN
+1 stewarbc. Borla ATAKs on my ride after switching from Flowmaster Outlaws. Borla ATAK is quite aggressive, and very enjoyable at any speed. Good luck with your quest for the right sound, Quinn
