We depart Palm Springs Monday April 14th at 8:30AM, traveling only about an hour on the interstate. The balance of the ride circumvents Joshua Tree National Park and utilizes lightly traveled two lane desert roads. We will have a special lunch stop/photo op and follow the Colorado river for a while before reaching Las Vegas. Ask anyone who did a similar trip with us last year - this is worth the drive in our special cars! This is high season in Palm Springs and our dates this year coincide with the end of the Coachella Music Festival, making finding a quality property a little bit of a challenge. James Harman Posted January 30, 2014 Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 Who if anybody is attending the banquet, I am confused to what day it is. When I signed up I put myself and wife down for it. I think it is on the 19th at the Luxor. But now I see a registration for a Birthday Celebration on the 17th at New York New York. Am I correct to assume that this is a separate event just like the Shelby Gala on the 18th? What I would like to do, is go to the Birthday Celebration and the Shelby Gala. Is it possible to cancel the banquet on the 19th and get the refund applied to Birthday Celebration. Then all I would have to do is sign up for the Shelby Gala. The resort from last year, along with many others are completely sold out. This new location is 3.5 miles from the freeway and looks to be just as nice if not better than last year's.
