alight57
The car is sold this time, 07H008 is going home to match up with 06H008. Together for the first time & forever.
twobjshelbys
Congratulations! It's fun to see a car go to someone with a purpose. I think the two matching numbers cars justifies the price. I do hope you will drive them every once in a while

QuickSilverShelby
Nice job, that's really cool. One day I hope to add the 2006 #490 to my stable or one of the 4 2006 5spds. Way to go alight57. QSS
Helge Ruchelski
That is so cool to have both! Congrats!
JeffJ
Now that you have the car, maybe you can shed some light on why people keep calling 07H008 a prototype? Why did that word ever get attached to this car?
alight57
It's actually the prototype 2, the car was actually kept in Hertz's headquarters. There is a personalized NJ plate with the car GTHP2. The car has 74 miles on it.
ChicagoChris
Funny how things get started and stick. There is a 2013 thread addressing the 'prototype' claim and Steve Thorton, SAI Registry Supervisor confirmed Shelby Vegas does not consider this car a prototype. However, it is a car with very low miles w/GTHP2 license plates.
Mkhb
Congrats!!! Is 008 a 5 speed or manual?
alight57
Both are automatics.
twobjshelbys
I sincerely doubt any of the GTH 5-speeds will show up except at major auctions. I don't think a single one has made a public appearance to date. They were special cars for the execs and are closely held. The Ford GT equivalent would be Sonic Blue. Very special cars.
