I've Sold My Gt-H

Hello friends,

I have sold 06H0087 to a fellow Shelby enthusiast in Maryland.

It was a great pleasure having her for 6 years. In that time I put

approximately 2500 miles on her clock.

I had always wished my Hertz car had a manual gearbox and I

was seriuously considering doing a conversion. Glad I didn't.

Not wanting to be without a Shelby, I purchased a 2007 white Shelby GT.

I am pretty excited about getting her home.

5500 miles, grey interior, 5 speed manual gearbox, shaker 1000,

lower grill and PIAA lower driving lights installed and new stripes replaced under Ford warranty too.

I recently purchased a Hertz hood and will be installing on car once painted.

The car looks as new as day one. I will post pics when she arrives.

Philip, Did you give the buyer information on joining Team Shelby? And maybe join us on Facebook on our Hertz page.

Good luck with the GT and keep in touch.

Thanks guys.

The new owner of 06H0087 is a Shelby guy from way back.

He owns 2 original 1966 Gt350's, of which one he purchased in 1968.

He was wanting to get into a modern Shelby with significance such as the

06 Hertz coupe. The car is in great hands.

The photo below shows 06H0087 on the road coarse at Monticello Motor club, NY.

The hertz coupe is the most special Shelby mustang there is IMHO and I was honored

to have looked after her during my ownership.

Time to move on.......With another Shelby ofcoarse.

I'll post pics of my new acquisition.

Sad, Awesome and congrats all in one. I also believe the GT-H is a significant car (second generation) and the SGT as well. I also miss the hand shaker. Enjoy the new car Philip.
