Elgin Black
I just got my car back from having the whipple 550 upgrade installed. Man what a difference. I have one question. The intercooler tank that came with the kit mounted next to the radiator tank instead of the drivers side fender. I have aluminum tanks for the radiator and the power steering. I can't find a tank with the same inlet and outlet locations that will fit in that area. Any suggestions? I may have to get the tank Lethal Performance has and reroute the inlet and outlet hoses. William Rodgers
Congrats!!!!!!! I love mine, I can not help with your question. Did you keep the 4.10 gears? Mine is already to quick to get traction, I would think 4.10's would be worse.
Elgin Black
yes I kept the 4:10's,holy smoke it was quick before but I will have to do something later. The IC tank mounts on the radiator shroud instead of on the drivers side tower.

americaniron
I went with the Lethal one. Matched the Moroso ones really well.
Elgin Black
I also like the Lethal one. Did you have to change out your hoses? My tank is mounted on the radiator shroud. It seems the changed the tank mounting location with the kit I got. It also looks like the tank is bigger than the one they show in the picture when you order the kit. The hoses that came with mine are bent(formed) to fit the front mounted tank and I have been unable to find a tank with the inlet and outlet locations in the same locations as the one I received. It's been some time ago since I changed it out, but I do remember having to redo the hoses. I got some hoses from the parts store and figured out how to best route them to the fender area. I remember it was definitely an easy job.
