Richard Davies
I have 2008 Shelby GT500. Is there any drone associated with the installation of the Borla "Stinger" Cat Back Exhaust System Model 140135. Or do I have to install model 140210 that adds the X pipe? 3ponies
If your car is lowered be careful with Borla pipes. The set I had banged on the axle.

The set I had banged on the axle. i agree with that. that's happening to me now. my OEM pipes were crimped near the axle so there was more clearance. my borla pipes are mandrel-bent so there is less clearance. added a KR axle-reservoir kit to my car and now the breather tube fitting taps against the pipe, periodically. not sure what to do about it now. Believe it or not I had to buy the original pipes AGAIN to fix the clang!
2007tungstenGT500
yeah, i believe it. i originally bought the borla touring catback kit from shelby then sold the mufflers and left the catback pipes on. i still have the OEM pipes, but i'm tired of monkeying around with everything and i finally have it sounding exactly how i want it (hi-flow cats, resonators, KR mufflers).
