2008GT-C
There was a thread on a oil separator install for the Whipple supercharged Shelby GT's that I wanted to reply to but I thought it was only for Shelby brand separators. I installed this a few months back and purchased it before Shelby marketed their own. The Fittings are Parker brand. The system seems to work good. Oil does go into the catch container which I drain on occasion. I went this way because I liked the look of the stainless braided Teflon hoses. -Kevin
Elgin Black
Did the oil separator come with those hoses and fittings?

ingram4868
Can you describe what the filtering media is for the Moroso?
2008GT-C
The fittings and hoses do not come with the oil separator. It was an extra expense to purchase. I only looked at the filter media once it looks similar to steel wool or one of those dish scrubbers. I first had it installed with the supplied rubber hose and did not like it. The company I work for uses the stainless fittings in high heat and pressure environments so I knew it would be up for the job and went out and bought my own. The only gripe I had with the Moroso unit was the mounting bracket was stamped steel and would eventually rust so it was powder coated. - Kevin

2008GT-C
I could supply you with a parts list. The fitting were bought from a Parker Fittings supplier near my house in Glastonbury,CT. They are not cheap. I paid about $300 for the materials and this was with my company discount. This did not include the oil separator. The hoses were made at my place of employment. They could make the hoses for you. There are also other fitting companies out there also. I liked the look and the punishment they could take. - Kevin
