Nice white Shelby GT, Tan Leather on Ebay. Who's car was this? Has the 2008 Terlingua fender stripes. Looks like a nice car.

Story appears to be a bit embelished in the add, but not bad. Not a bad price for the car with the miles.

Odd. Four owners, only 14K miles, never registered. It was obviously loved however. I don't remember a tan leather white GT at the 2008 Terlingua event, but there were a lot of cars that year. I may have missed it.

on a related note...someone please buy this before they realize what they are selling. and thank me later, since it was emotionally difficult for me to let this opportunity go... http://www.victorylaneimports.com/used/Ford/2007-Ford-Mustang-1c4e44800a0a006400ee8874294e72c0.htm

Is that a REAL GT/SC? Anyone here know for sure?

I wish SAI or Scott Drake would make a Shelby grille where we could re-installl the original driving lights. And I wish they would move the lights inboard similar to Eleanor. That would be a nice option and still keeping it all Shelby. I realize there are after market grills but I want to keep it all Shelby.

anyone from Shelby listening??????????? Any chances?

Hard to say, but I do not see the engine compartment "Factory Installed SC" plate that would be on the passenger and or driver side shock tower. I did notice the UPR oil catch can and remember a few cars on here installing them at the same location. Looks like a decent buy.

Take a look to the left side of the radiator cover. Just opposite of the CSM engine bay tag. I would say that it is a GT\SC - it has the rotors that came with the package also. Possible one of the earlier builds when they could figure out for sure where to put the "Factory Installed" badge

I'm ALWAYS listening.

The part needed to do this would require a pretty high minimum order, and a large upfront tooling cost. It'd be hard to be successful with that one.

The car does have a factory supercharged plaque on the radiator support (passenger side) but the question is the car legit? This car has never been registered with the SAI Registry so there are no clues there. It would be up to the "seller" to provide paperwork showing that this is a factory authorized GT/SC build. Does seem to be a decent buy either way.

Good eye Steve. I thought they were all placed on the shock towers, my bad. I do recall some discussion as to where these would end up. As mentioned, this may have been one of the earlier installs. That said, IF SAI or other authorized mod shop did the install, wouldn't the car be registered or at least the SC upgrade documented?

You would think but the registry database is only as good as the info submitted. If a mod shop doesn't let the registry know of a build..........

Interesting. That poses another question. I have the factory super charged GT-H/SC certificate, does that assure that SAI let the registry know or is this more applicable to mod shops, not the mother ship? I also have the Shelby Authenticate Certificate but I would think that does not assure the SC upgrade is in the registry.

JER, I do not think you would need any upfront costs if SAI would just buy a similar product from Cervini or others and put the Shelby name on it. That would not be the first time for Shelby. Then we could have a custom grill and it would still be Shelby. Or a already manufactured lower grill from Shelby for the Eleanor look. Either way, all we need is to have the Shelby name on it and then it is still all Shelby.

Jer, your thoughts?

Any one else have thoughts?

I think most of us would like to have the original lights installed if it could remain all Shelby.

+1, I like the lower grill with centered lights also like the Cervini edition but like 07SGT prefer to keep everything Shelby or FRPP.
