mash
I have had a small amount of seepage around the O2 sensor. Took it to the dealer for the first oil change at 7500km and they told me it was just a small amount of sweating. Anyone else seen this?
IngotSilverSnake
Sweating oil? Never heard of that and I have been working on cars as a hobby since 1965. Mine does not "sweat" oil anywhere.
grsybtch
Oil seeping from an exhaust sensor is not "sweating" ! There's not supposed to be oil in your exhaust! Especially not in enough quantity to "seep" from a sensor that's airtight!

And certainly not from the EXHAUST!!! If OIL is leaking around the EGO sensor, you have more problems than just a sensor seal/gasket. ingram4868
If it causes any stain on the floor that is not acceptable by anyone's standards for a new car. Escalate the issue up the Ford chain until it is fixed.

It will leave a black spot on the floor but still, it should NOT be leaking around (or before/upstream of) the EGO sensor. That will allow It to pick up free oxygen which tells the PCM it's running lean and the PCM will falsely richen up the AFR and create all kind of problems. Very doubtful it's an "oil" leak.
