Dcourt
I'm thinking of parting ways with my SGT ... for something a little more practical.. I was just wondering what a solid asking price would be for it 2007 White w/ painted on stripes its been a daily driver for the past 3 years has about 50,xxx miles on it automatic trans with tan interior and its probably a 7/10 because of normal daily driving rock chips and 2 door dings. so feel free to comment and say what you consider a fair price i should be asking when i do decide to finally let it go. thanks, Danny
SGT0128
If I remember correctly, you were posting here before you became an owner. I also seem to recall how proud you were we're when you scored that one. That being said, I'd relunctly say between 17 and 20 k. Think three times before you sell. ShelbyKR664
I just noticed on your description you stated tan interior. This is very rare. I would get all the details from Steve (Shelby registrar) to let people know how rare a combo it is. Who knows it may be worth a few hundred $more to somebody. Good luck in your sale. Jer
The mileage is a negative factor, puts the car around $19-20K, all things being equal. The Tan interior and auto trans are neither positive NOR negative - the person who wants those two things won't have many to choose from! That will make it a slow sale, OR may make it sell INSTANTLY. I think the key here is to get maximum exposure - sell it on eBay (or other internationally-viewable site), and promote your auction on specialist websites (like this one). You will do best by finding the "right" customer. BTW, consider having a Paintless Dent Removal person look at your car. White's an easy color, and PDR can work miracles for WAY less $ than you think. Good luck!!! Jer

Painted stripes (if you did LeMans AND rockers, and the work is good) can easily add another $2000+ to a knowledgeable buyer. twobjshelbys
I would predict that at about 20K and it would move quickly. Mileage is not unreasonable for a 2007 Mustang used for daily driver. I think most give you 12K per year, yes? This is under that. Door dings and rock chips are also a factor. Like Jer said, try PDR for the door dings and you'll probably recover your cost. The rest of the things really don't matter much. The tan interior, while rare, doesn't matter much if at all to the 99% consumer (I learned 1 of 1 doesn't matter except on forums). Price it higher (23-24K) if you can wait for a person who knows Shelby's and the value add of the SGT package. Most people won't understand what all of that means and that they really have a nice little road race car if they want to use it that way. I would strongly encourage you do do a Auto Trader ad. Your audience here is very unlikely to buy it (unless someone wants a good track car). Good Luck!
