JeffIsHereToo
As of now , in SMG - here is the top lap times ; Thunderhill Raceway Park - 2.866 miles - Addison Lee - 2:02.674 Sonoma Raceway - 2.520 miles - Addison Lee - 1:49.610 Laguna Seca Raceway - 2.238 miles - Addison Lee - 1:40.738 Congrats to Russ Peterson in Menlo Park , California who just bought a White 2007 SGT for me to build into a SPEC MUSTANG ! ( another SGT goes racing ! ) If it's the same Addison I know his Dad owns Borelli Motor Sports and VERY active in racing since he was a kid. He's REALLY good based upon what I've seen the few times I saw him drive and what I've been told.
Kevin Patten
It's probably the same Addison that you know - but his dad doesn't own Borelli Motor Sports ( Ralph Borelli does ) His dad Don Lee used to race an AC Cobra and now races a vintage Trans Am Camaro . Kevin Patten
That's probably because Addison worked at Borelli's - his car is one of the ex Miller Challenge cars .
Mr. Haney
Here's a link to the video to th Albino GT SPEC Mustang After watching this video Albino, the execution of your car build looks very impressive. Is there a minimum ride height and spec tire size?
Kevin Patten
Body must be a minimum of 3.5" from the ground and 295/30 - 18 DOT tires are required and must be of the same size all around .
Kevin Patten
I'm taking 07SGT2425 over to Borelli's tomorrow to get a tune done on it . They bought up TPS Motorsports and now have their dyno and employees there . They are the ones that tuned my car ( 07SGT4755 ) for the SPEC MUSTANG class rules which state that you're only allowed to have 315 RWHP and 325 RWTQ . I'm sure that they will film this tune as well and post it on you tube .
JeffJ
Cool stuff. Congrats to all who get to play! I need to get back into that someday. I used to run a 1986 Mustang in SCCA AS. Still hold track record at Woody Creek Raceway in Aspen, CO (but that's not that impressive as the track has been sold and is privately owned now. SCCA hasn't been able to race there in years!) Me getting ready to put the hurt on that poor Camaro at Woody Creek in 1992 I think:
Kevin Patten
Jeff - strip down that GTH#102 and get back out there bud - you could be a contender ! (tow it with the Lightning like I do ) GOOD TIMES !
Kevin Patten
Got a sound level check at Laguna Seca yesterday - got a 90.4 db which meets the 92 db requirement ( pretty quiet if you ask me for a race car ) . Not bad for having the Borla long tube headers w/X pipe and Bullitt mufflers ( GTB ) .
redneckgt
Well .... Kevin Patten
They are Jongbloed 700 series wheels ( Ryan did the set on my car in a silver finish to match the stripes on the car especially for me ) which are an 18" x 10.5" with a 45mm offset all around. They are the official/required wheel for SPEC MUSTANG racing in SCCA .
