And further progress on "crash": (even got some of my money back :drop: )

And here's what a summer daily driver looks like under the carpet:

I found the "easy" way to remove the dash after the hard way on "Hurricane":

Now I can see why there is so much road noise in side of the car

More progress as time allows.

Hurricane engine and trans removed, new clutch installed, manual trans from hurricane matted to engine from crash, engine and trans re-installed into hurricane. Getting closer to breathing life back into hurricane.

Main body wiring harness, dash with wiring, and SJB, all installed from Crash.

Initial fire up occurred last weekend, however, I couldn't get it passed 3 DTC error codes, one of which is a forced idle condition essentially disabling the ETC (Electronic Throttle Control, a.k.a. gas pedal).

Spent the past week troubleshooting and trying different parts etc.... Thanks to Kevin (Albino500) for all the assistance this past week, proved invaluable!

Solved the issue by swapping out Hurricane's Engine harness with M/T harness from Crash.

Last week ordered tunes from BAMA. Arrived on Friday, installed and performed a test drive up the road (first time Hurricane moved under its own power since Sandy hit in October 2012) :yahoo:

CEL and wrench lights on. More troubleshooting found a loose fuse. Fixed that tonight with a successful run up the road.

Looks like Hurricane will make a track debut shakedown on 8/16! :victory:

Car looks great but not digging the creature comforts in the shop. How about a nice couch so we can all come over and supervise.....a single chair and stool does not appear very inviting nor does it look too comfy.....

GT

Lmao, can't make it too comfortable or nothing would get done.

Track debut went without issue.

Hurricane performed flawlessly!

KohR Motorsports (previously Rehagen Racing) had a garage sale this week, picked up some goodies for Hurricane's track life.

FR500 Steering Rack, FR500 power steering cooler kit, FR500 high heat tier rod ends, front hubs with ARP studs, ARP studs for rear
