Wayne in NJ
Friday night, found out (per my fellow TD Shelby owner, Ralph), that, what SHOULD be hi pressure, EFI rubber tubing on my fueld injection system, is NOT! Fire potential if it breaks and starts squirting gas on the hot motor! (He's owned his '85 since '87, and knows these mini-beasts pretty well)! The coup de gras was meeting a friend, Rob, at a show, yesterday, who also owned three Turbo Dodge 2.2 vehicles, (currently owns a classic Road runner), and actually HAD one of those fires in his 2.2! Ralph said the cars were recalled for this problem, back in the day. Edited June 24, 2013 by Wayne in NJ
