IASHELBYGT
There is a 2012 Yellow Blaze car close to me for sale. The car has 7,600 miles on it. When I asked about the story on the car, the dealer rep said it was a Ford Marketing car, that it went around on display at different Ford events and then they bought it at auction. So does this mean that the car was abused by the general public and likely Ford as well? The car appears to be in good shape, but I'm a little nervous. Can anybody out there give me some insight on this and what do you all think a fair offer would be? Car is listed at $39,900. Thanks in advance for the feedback. NordicShelby
I seen that car in Oklahoma for the Tulsa MidAmerica event a few years back. I took a ton of photos of it. They were using it to bring people on the track. I would say it would be worth $35,000 The Yellow Blaze was my favorite color for 2012. Its a rare color. SGT-C0056
They only made 200+ in that color. $39000 seems a bit high, but around $37K would be a good price. I wouldn't care about the car being driven on the track, that's what the car is meant for and if everyone on this site that runs their Boss hard on the track thinks that's abuse, then their cars are worth in the low $30's. By the way, I paid $37500 for my 2012 with 10,000 miles Edited June 23, 2013 by SGT-C0056
cobrakidz
There is a local Boss 302 that is street driven and hard track driven and it purrs--pretty sure Ford made these cars able to handle it. I would wait for a little lower price though.
IASHELBYGT
Thanks for the feedback guys. I went and looked at yellow blaze car this weekend. Mechanically it seemed sound and really sounded good. Cosmetically it was a little rougher than I was hoping for. I'm patient and will wait for the right car and right price. 12 Yellow blaze or 13 grabber blue.
