Orange Juice
What do you think of attaching the chrome letters "SHELBY" to the front of the hood? The original Mustangs did this. They would be spaced exactly like the rear ones, sort of like the attached photo below except on the front edge of the hood?
roblectric
My .02 says no to the hood lettering. Grill letters look ok but still wouldn't put them on mine.
yoggiebhr
well, the 68 Shelby had hood letters, so why not. you could try it, if you don't like them, take them off.
ITHERTZ66
I vote to keep the hood the way it is without extra lettering.

VNMSNK
It is your car and your money. You should make it any way that makes you happy. Some may not like it and some may love it, what matters is what you like. Also, the 08-09 KR's had letters on their hoods too. http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/48082-kr-photo-thread/
Doug_GT350
I vote no, but as DGGT500 stated "It is your car and your money. You should make it any way that makes you happy." ..... "what matters is what you like."

SoCalSGT
I agree, do what makes you happy. Personally, I like the clean look. That's why I had the painted stripes without the 350 on the hood. But I like the ones with it, too. So it's all a matter of preference. John
Larry T
I prefer no lettering but make it your own ... you might change a few peoples minds in the process.

I like them a lot on a KR or Super Snake style hood but I'm not so sure it would look good on a smooth hood. You can always mock it up to see how it looks then decide if you want to affix them or not. Heck, you could probably make a set from cardboard and save the cost of a set of FoMoCo/Shelby letters.
