Are shift knobs hard to change?

Recommended Posts

Looking at ones for my 2013 GT350.

It depends on how many tubes of lock-tite they used that day!

Seriously.

On my 13 GT500, 4 techs and myself tried unsuccessfully before the 6-6" 250lb body builder who was there watching gave it a try and it spun right off. I said "Thanks, but you know I loosened it for you." LOL.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. One thing, which shifter knob fits the short throw shifter they put in the GT350s? It seems they have two thread sizes for knobs?

The use MGW on the Super Snakes so I ASSUME they use MGW on the GT350's too.

I say, I ASSUME.....

I'm pretty sure the KR's used the Ford Racing short throws, which have SAE threads (your sig says KR).

Sorry, need to clarify, the knob is for a 2013 GT350, the KR is my other Shelby, a '68.
