07SGT5687
So I was flying through the install of the Eibach R1 coilovers and then a screeching halt. The top nut of the front coilovers won't come loose so I can apply the adapter plate for the MM caster camber plates I have. I'm pretty close to rounding off that top strut piece that you anchor to to turn the large nut... WTF am I doing wrong and how to I get it to come off? At a stand still at the moment. HyperStangs
If memory serves me right, I believe there's a snap ring located just below that rounded flange. Edited June 2, 2013 by HyperStangs

Can you be a little more specific. Sometimes my vocabulary doesn't quite measure up!
HyperStangs
If I'm not mistaken, there is a snap-ring located right where the arrow is pointing. If you remove it the hat will slide off. But I guess I'm not sure why you want to remove it since it mounts to the caster/camber plates. Edited June 2, 2013 by HyperStangs

Was able to get it loose by just using a few quick bursts from an impact wrench. How frustrating. And since I don't have an open-ended torque wrench, I had to "feel" out the 46 lb. ft. is needed by spec. Thanks for the quick responses though.
