New to group.

Have a Grabber Blue 2014 with white strips on order; no production date yet, but keep checking with SVT.

My question is about the standard alarm system that comes in the vehicle; is this the full available alarm system, or is there an additional module that can be purchased from Ford that can be added to it to expand it's capabilities? My dealer (not to intelligent on issues with the Shelby) said that the one for sale on the Ford Accessories web site is in addition to the one that comes stock in the Shelby, but from other web sites, it seems that the Shelby may already have the maximum alarm features available via Ford. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Thanks.

Not sure on a '14 but my '10 has a pretty decent alarm from the factory. It's more than what my wife's '11 Flex and my '12 Raptor has, in that the GT500 has a 'perimeter alarm' where the other two don't. Hood is also alarmed, doors, tilt sensor and I *think* window shock sensors.

If I knew what the Ford Accy. alarm included, I might be able to give you a comparison.

A friends 2008 KR has a better alarm than the one my 2007 V6 Mustang had. When at Shows or Cruise Ins, they would have the Windows down but hit the Key Fob to lock the Doors, if anyone reached in the window opening, the Alarm would go off.
