mywickedshelby
Well I just bought the Extreme brakes on sale and I was wondering if the GT500 Front Brakes I have on my car now will fit on my son's 1995 Mustang GT? If it depends on what tire he is running.......he is planning on going with FR500 wheels from American Muscle...here are the specs...... Manufacturer: AmericanMuscle Wheels Style: FR500 Size: 18x9 Finish: Chrome Placement: Front or Rear Centercap Size: Large (2-1/2") Back Spacing: 6.2" (157mm) Offset: +30mm (1.2") Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm) Weight: Material: Aluminum Lip Size : N/A Best Tire : 1994 - 1998: 265/35-18 1999 - 2004: 275/35-18 Year/Model: 1994-2004 All Can anyone tell me if this will work? GT500 brakes on a 1995 Mustang GT? With these wheels? thanks in advance for your help.
svttim
Michael, I asked if they fit the KR wheel, Jer said barely, no room for debris. I doubt they would fit. I dont think the spindles are the same but, Im not sure. Trial and error
EL SHELBY
Check out Vintage Venom. They sell a kit (or at least the used to) that allows the GT500 Brembo's to bolt up. http://www.mustang50magazine.com/techarticles/m5lp_0905_1994_mustang_cobra_brake_conversion/
