yell03 Posted April 16, 2013 Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 I've had some really nice cars.... 03 Cobras, a Viper GTS, C6 Z06, Porsche 911, and a C63 AMG Mercedes. A Shelby GT500 is an itch I've needed to scratch for a long time. So today, I traded my 2012 5.0 automatic for a 2011 Shelby GT500. It is bone stock and the only thing I've ordered so far is a Airaid non-oiled replacement filter in Blue. Here are some pics... The wife likes it too... Personally i like the way the JLT looks too BTW the only other thing i bought was the hydraulic hood lifts.I wa at a acar show and it was windy--the wind picked up the hood of the guy next to me, in a shelby too, the hood prop lost contact, the hood fell on the prop and dented the fender and the edge of the hood--thats when i bought the hydraulic props no drilling, took 20 minutes to do it. I am actually from PA, the dealership was in NJ, I have to wait for my PA tags you can just pull out the baffles --dont need a rseonartor delete. I am waiting on the Michelin AS3s to come out in July or I have thought about the Continental DWS as it is my daily driver and sees rain and freezing temps, but no snow.
