yoggiebhr
I think its because the front fascia of the GT500 is different. Of course the brace and supercharger would cause clearance problems too.
yoggiebhr
Few more pictures, they're still telling me it will be done tomorrow. I'm loving the shine. And you can't feel the stripes.

yoggiebhr
Well, I have the car home. Of course, it was raining like crazy today so all the pictures I have of it are wet. Tomorrow it will get a good bath. It turned out pretty good. I found a small scratch on the back edge of the hood they need to fix and for some reason, they didn't get the underhood stripes the same width..causing the one on the passenger side to not line up with the stripe on the topside. Grrrrr...they'll have to fix that. But otherwise, it looks pretty good. here are the picks from the pickup today. I am having rubbing problems with the cap we talked about, Its also rubbing my CAI tube...gonna have to find a way to adjust that. Welcome to custom work. Blown Away
Looks good. Hopefully the rubbing issues are an easy fix. Might have to go with aluminum tanks. Dan

yoggiebhr
Dan, I'm going to get a stock overflow tank cap for day to day driving. I'll put the Shelby cap on when I'm showing it. Not quite sure what do about the rubbing CAI yet. Might have to cover it with something while I'm driving it, maybe a foam wrap of some kind
roblectric
Glad you got her home. It amazes me that when we explain what we expect out of our paint job, they listen, nod and take notes. Then when you go to pick her up you start noticing that they must have lost their focus and enthusiasm for the job. Minor things start to pop out after you get her home. Insist that they make it right.
