Looks like another possible scammer on ebay

Recommended Posts

In the words of Bugs Bunny "What a maroon". To list the 40th badging and CSM plate on the dash and have neither, takes a certain kind of stupid. I continue to be amazed at most, not all, of the eBay selling public.

Unless I'm missing something, this isn't a 40th, nor does the vin# belong to a GT500

VIN belongs to a GT500 vert, 89S is for verts,

Obviously not a Vegas built 40th car. Wondering if the seller is just confused, you would be surprised at how many 2007 GT500 owners think they have a 40th package car.

The cars location and auction pics do match the CarFax report. But the BIN price is just crazy.

Strange one for sure.

I haven't checked the description from the Shelby site or a brochure but that sure sounds a LOT like he just copied it from a official release.

Too many errors to be from SAI. Window tint & 680hp to name two.

Looks to be perhaps copied from different sources:

Clueless seller or scammer, either one is not good.

One of none... :lol2:

Perfect description.

I just don't get the scamming. Feel for the person that spends that kind of money for not what they were lead to believe. I know many would say it's your own fault if you get scammed, but how many of us have got caught up in the moment and made a bad decision?
