conejo
I bought from an Auction a Salvage GT500 white with Red Stripes, original red appearence package and would like to know if the owner is in this forum. VIN: 1ZVHT88S275346754 It doesnot have the Shelby badge, and would like to know the number and other info. The Auction was in Arkansas. Thanks for your help. SGT0767
I can not tell you anything about the car itself but I can tell you that GT500s do not have a CSM number unless the car had been upgraded to an SE or SS. Since it does not appear to have any Shelby CSM number, it would be a stock GT500. That does not make it any less of a Shelby rather it means that you can modifiy it any way you want and not have to feel guilty about doing it. Hope you are able to find someone who has more specifics on the car. Good luck with your purchase. Edited April 2, 2013 by SGT0767
Secondo
The T88S in the VIN specify that it is a Shelby GT500 and 5.4L Supercharged 4V V8 engine.
JeffJ
One thing I noticed by watching Copart quite a bit lately (I'm looking for a couple drive train donors for projects, ecoboost trucks and 5.0 Mustangs) is that I think there must be a GT500 wrecked just about every day. At any given time, there are at least 10-20 GT500's listed that have been totalled. And I'm just looking locally in the states around me. Amazing how many people get these cars that have no ability to drive such a powerful machine.
