Orange Juice
Like so many of us, we would like to have more front lighting. First, will a '05 v6 top grill fit our SGTs? If so how do you like this look? One could add the tri-bar emblem to complete the look. Thanks
EL SHELBY
The grille opening for the V6 & CS6 front bumper/grille surround are a different size than the GT/CS/SGT bumper/grille surround. I like the look of the additional lights but I tend to think that the SGT looks better without. As for the grille you show, I'm not a fan of the chrome. The polished grille that the SGT came with looks best on the GO SGT, but I recently changed out my grille for a black version. Looks much better in my opinion. If anyone is interested I have an Agent 47 Grille that has provisions for lights. I debated putting it on my SGT but went in the directed I stated above. I really whish Shelby would bring back the CS8 grille without the lights. Edited March 19, 2013 by EL SHELBY
07SGT
I would have preferred if we could have kept the two driving lights but have moved them inboard a la Eleanor style.

harristotle
I really like the clean look of the lack of lights on the front. The only extra lighting I would consider would be getting some small fog lights set into the fascia below the turn signals like the GT500's have. Steve.Madrid
I have thought about a different grille look for awhile now and I would really like a wire mesh type of grille. I have looked at a few places that do a custom wire mesh but still a bit away from pulling the trigger. I have never liked the faux plastic mesh like the lower fascia inserts. I guess I need to see if one of the mesh companies can show me a mock-up of the grille and go from there.

One of the things that make our cars special is our front, although most folks see it from the rear! (especially SC )
FordRocks1
First off, I apologize for the dirty car pics....hey, its rainy season here in South Fl. In any case, I added a set of fogs that I got at a yard sale for $10 behind the original grille for I like to install the JLT ducts again in the lower area. It is a plug and play thing, the pig tails are still there so all you have to do is add the fuse in the panel in the interior. Mine is not secured with extra screws or brackets, there was a guy who sold the bracket but now he is no longer selling the bracket by itself so you'd have the buy his grille and brackets and relocation horn bracket.....uhm, not at $300. So I pretty much placed the oem fogs at the outer edges behind the grille frame (it is a tight squeze but it will get in there), all I did was buy longer screws that went where the original grille screws were and the pressure of the grille against the fogs keeps them tight and snug. Yes, I checked them for whether they were secured and not shaking by having my wife drive my car and I drive hers to see if they were angled right and no shaking and it was all good. Well, here are the pics....
