86SVO
2007 SGT/SC, has anyone done the smog test in CA with the Paxton on the engine and the Shelby vehicle emission control information label (some of these cars do not have this label) under the hood? It failed visual (every thing else passed) because according to the FORD tech cannot locate the EGR, and the label on the hood states that it has an EGR. Everything is stock and the mods were done at SAI in Las Vegas before actual delivery back in 2007. BM
HARALD KELLEY
Your install if done by SAI should be 50 state legal. Only way Shelby does the SCs at their facility unless done at mod shop which I am sure was not as mod shop was not in place.
MMcGuirk
Change smog stations, if you have the EOD sticker that came with the SC kit, you are exempt and will pass. My 06 GT with Ford Racing Whipple has no issue (it also actually passed the test!)
86SVO
Received response from SAI, some of the early cars got wrong label. SAI is shipping the correct label. BM
HARALD KELLEY
Glad you got it worked out. Post a picture of the label when you get it. My car does not have any label, just curious even though I am not required to smog my car.
